John Morris of 49th Squadron of the Royal Flying Corps, was killed in a flying accident on 6 March 1918 while flying DH4 C4530 with his observer who was injured. The aeroplane was on a practice flight when the engine cut out, causing the machine to stall and dive into the ground, where it burst into flames. |
